Sidney Franklin found his love of tap in kindergarten, when a friend wore her tap shoes to school. Sid asked for a pair and his mother said, "Not unless you take class." Sid started tapping with San Diego Civic Dance. After his experience with tap, he found he enjoys all forms of dance
